I've done that many times. It's not abnormal or anything. When I say, "many," I mean MANY, MANY times. Also, each time, I have had to let go and forget. It's painful, nerve-wracking, and difficult. Sometimes, it almost seems impossible. Anyway, I do feel your pain.
Do NOT hide it. It is NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF. It is not insane, nor is it stupid. It takes more than motivation to actually even post feelings such as those TO THE PUBLIC.
However, I will give you something from my own experiences. LOVE is a VERY strong word. There can be extreme liking, admiration, or adoration, but LOVE is a strong word. Love is a strong word, but it always depends on the context. I do not want to burst any bubbles, nor do I want to break anyone's heart. Therefore, I shall stop here. Anyway, you have done well.
